Dr. Greer is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) and finished his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

Dr. Greer evaluates and treats patients with chronic pain of the spine, joints, abdomen, pelvis, and other areas of the body. His focus is on improving function and quality of life with non-opioid medications, physical therapy, injections, and other procedures.

Dr. Greer also offers spinal cord stimulation to patients with certain chronic pain syndromes. He is the only physician in our area that performs Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation, a specific type of spinal cord stimulation recently approved for complex regional pain syndrome.

Dr. Greer enjoys attending athletic events (especially college football) as he is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he was captain of the varsity swim team. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors in the Shenandoah Valley.

Physician Assistant

University of Northern Colorado BS in Exercise Physiology, MSPAS from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia.

Kyle Faulkner, PA-C is a graduate from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia and has experience in the management of acute and chronic pain.

He previously worked in a comprehensive pain practice in Colorado, before moving back to the Shenandoah Valley. He is able to assist in the treatment and management of differing pains including neck and back, multi-joint, abdominal and pelvic pain syndromes.

His favorite part about working in pain management as a Physician Assistant is being able to sit down and talk with patients, understanding the many factors that could be contributing to their pain, and providing these patients with the proper avenues of treatment to help manage the pain.

In his free time, Kyle is an avid hockey player, who enjoys golfing. He also likes to get outside with his dog in order to take advantage of the different activities the valley has to offer.
